"Working with Dodecantus was a very great pleasure. It comprises a strong group of very committed singers, and their dedication to getting the music right and delivering a first-class performance makes it a positive joy to be involved with them as a conductor. From the audience's point of view, of course, the benefit lies not just in hearing great music sung well, but also in perceiving the personal passion and energy that a group like this brings to both rehearsal and concert, something that is so often missing from professional chamber choirs who see the music-making as just a job. A group like Dodecantus can often get more to the heart of a piece of music in all senses."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dodecantus, indeed the performances of the Faure (Pavanne) and of the Walton (Coronation Te Deum) were one of the high spots of my musical experience."
from Eric Wetherell, formerly Assistant Musical Director and Conductor of Welsh National Opera, Musical Director for HTV and Principal Conductor of the BBC Northern Ireland Orchestra.
"I accompanied Dodecantus on two trips abroad and they performed beautiful music to a high standard. It was so very enjoyable to be with such enthusiastic singers who brought vitality and commitment to each concert. My advice is, come and listen to Dodecantus - a choir well worth travelling to hear."
from Kerry Beaumont, Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral. |

"Dodecantus are an extremely versatile choir, who are at their best when performing the more delicate a cappella repertoire, be it polyphony or more contemporary pieces."
from Robert Calleja, Director of The New Choral Singers, Malta"
Back home in Paris after a little tour in Malta I would like to thank you for the concert I attended in Mdina (Stabat Mater by Poulenc) You succeeded in making the audience understand this subtle and moving (Ah ! the first number !) music, so difficult to sing. You, Englishmen (and women !) are the best servants of french music (as Gardiner for Berlioz) Be thanked for the pleasure you give to your audience "

"Thank you for performing at our company Burns Night in January 2009. Your rendition of Burn's poetry set to music was excellent and many people commented at how much they enjoyed your singing . We would be happy to recommend you and would definitely consider using you again in the future."

"Thank you all very much for turning out on what must have been the hottest Sunday of the year to provide the choral accompaniment for our celebrations. It wasn't until we were part way through the service that we realised just how much we had given you to do. Our guests were truly impressed by the quality of your singing and some were moved to tears!
We were particularly pleased with how successfully the words of the last hymn fitted the music. Your support with the two hymns also gave our guests confidence to join in and help 'raise the roof'.
Thank you very much for playing a special part in our special day."
* A note to thank you and your fellow singers for the wonderful contribution you made to our wedding. To hear the hymns sung so well and with good volume was exactly what I wanted. I shall always remember standing listening to I Believe, it was very special to me and will now hold wonderful memories when I sing it in church. |

"
Thank you so much for your professional performance at St Barnabas Church on Saturday. Both families and friends commented on "the wonderful choir".
Catherine and Richard had a day to remember and your choir members contributed to their happiness."
*
"Thanks for a memorable day! The singing was first class."
*
"A rather belated "thank you" to the Dodecantus Choir for their participation in Vicky's and Joe's wedding ceremony on 6th Sept. The choirs participation was very much appreciated especially in 'leading' the congregation for the hymns." |
